Transmission problems can seemingly appear out of nowhere. If you are experiencing automatic transmission slippage (it feels like your gear changes for no apparent reason), rough shifting, delayed engagement, fluid leaking or your transmission warning light turns on, it’s time to visit Steve Purse Automotive as soon as possible. We service automatic transmissions on most makes and models. Changing the oil, filters, and gaskets (if applicable).
When your “Check Engine” light engages, you have just received an urgent message that you are experiencing potential engine trouble. Other warning signs include a loss of power, poor fuel economy, excessive noise, stalling, rough idle or the engine continues to run after you have turned off the ignition.
We can scan your ECU and give you a diagnostic report of the repairs required.
Issues with your brakes may seem minor, but they could eventually become a costly problem – not to mention the risks that you are taking with your safety and the safety of your passengers. Don’t take the risk, get them checked at the first sign of any problems.
Your clutch contains several components that will wear down with use and others that require regular maintenance. If you're experiencing sticking, vibrating, rumbling noises, or a difficulty in shifting gears, call us for an appointment to have it checked.
ESAFETY CHECKS
An eSafety (pink slip) inspection verifies that your vehicle is safe and roadworthy. Most cars that are over five years old require an eSafety check before they can be registered. Your registration renewal will state whether or not you need an inspection.
